Proverbs 2:1 (show verse)
My son, if you will receive my words, and lay up my commandments with you;
Proverbs 2:2 (show verse)
So that you incline your ear unto wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;
Proverbs 2:3 (show verse)
Yea, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding;
Proverbs 2:4 (show verse)
If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures;
Proverbs 2:5 (show verse)
Then shall you understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Proverbs 2:6 (show verse)
For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Proverbs 2:7 (show verse)
He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a shield to them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 2:8 (show verse)
He keeps the paths of justice, and preserves the way of his saints.
Proverbs 2:9 (show verse)
Then shall you understand righteousness, and justice, and equity; yea, every good path.

When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto your soul;

Discretion shall preserve you, understanding shall keep you:

To deliver you from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaks perverse things;
Proverbs 2:13 (show verse)
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
Proverbs 2:14 (show verse)
Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the perverseness of the wicked;
Proverbs 2:15 (show verse)
Whose ways are crooked, and who are perverse in their paths:
Proverbs 2:16 (show verse)
To deliver you from the immoral woman, even from the seductress who flatters with her words;
Proverbs 2:17 (show verse)
Who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God.
Proverbs 2:18 (show verse)
For her house leads unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
Proverbs 2:19 (show verse)
None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
Proverbs 2:20 (show verse)
That you may walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
Proverbs 2:21 (show verse)
For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the blameless shall remain in it.
Proverbs 2:22 (show verse)
But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
