For the lips of a strange woman drip honey, and her palate is smoother than oil; but afterward she is as bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell, read more.
lest you should meditate on the path of life, her tracks are movable; you cannot know them. And now hear me, O sons, and do not depart from the words of my mouth. Remove your ways far from her, and do not come near the door of her house, lest you give your honor to others and your years to the cruel; that strangers not be filled with your strength, and your labors be in the house of a stranger; and you moan when your end comes, when your flesh and muscle are eaten away,

Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, do not go astray in her paths. For she has cast down many wounded; yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the rooms of death.

They will deliver you from the strange woman, the stranger who flatters with her words,

She is loud and stubborn; her feet do not stay in her house; now she is outside, now in the streets, and lies in wait at every corner. And she caught him and kissed him, and with a hard face she said to him, read more.
I have peace offerings with me; today I have paid my vows. so I came out to meet you, earnestly to seek your face, and I have found you. I have decked my bed with coverings, with striped cloths of Egyptian linen. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; let us delight ourselves with caresses. For my husband is not at home, he has gone on a long journey; he has taken a bag of silver with him and will come home at the day of the full moon. With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. He goes after her immediately, like an ox goes to the slaughter, or like a fool to the correction of the stocks; until a dart strikes through his liver; as a bird hastens to the snare and does not know that it is for his soul. And now listen to me, sons, and attend to the words of my mouth. Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, do not go astray in her paths. For she has cast down many wounded; yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the rooms of death.

A foolish woman is noisy; she is simple and knows nothing. For she sits at the door of her house, in a seat in the high places of the city, to call those who pass by, who are going straight on their ways; read more.
The simple one, let him turn in here. And to one lacking heart, she says to him, Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he does not know that the dead are there; her guests are in the depths of hell.

I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly. Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well. Should your overflowing spring be scattered abroad as rivers of waters in the streets. Let them be only your own, and not strangers' with you. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. Like the loving deer and pleasant doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times, and be ravished always with her love. And why will you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

and I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands like bands. Whoever pleases God shall escape from her, but the sinner shall be taken by her.

They will deliver you from the strange woman, the stranger who flatters with her words, who forsakes the guide of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God. For her house bows down to death, and her paths to the dead. read more.
All who go in to her do not return, nor do they take hold of the paths of life,

My son, listen to my wisdom; bow your ear to my understanding; in order to keep discretion, that your lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drip honey, and her palate is smoother than oil; read more.

Say to wisdom, You are my sister; and call understanding your kinsman, so that they may keep you from the strange woman, from the stranger who flatters with her words. For at the window of my house I looked through my lattice, read more.
