And it happened at midnight Jehovah struck all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the first-born of the captive that was in the prison; also all the first-born of cattle.

and struck all the first-born in Egypt, the first of the strong in the tents of Ham;

He also struck all the first-born in their land, the chief of all their strength.

To Him who struck Egypt in their first-born; for His mercy endures forever;

Go out of Babylon; flee from the Chaldeans. Tell it with a voice of singing, let this be heard, let it go out to the end of the earth; say, Jehovah has redeemed His servant Jacob.

For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. Jehovah your God has chosen you to be a special people to Himself above all people that are upon the face of the earth. Jehovah did not set His love upon you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people, for you were the fewest of all people. But because Jehovah loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn to your fathers, Jehovah has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of slaves, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken to turn you away from Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slaves, to thrust you out of the way in which Jehovah your God commanded you to walk. So you shall put the evil away from the midst of you.

But now so says Jehovah who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel; Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.

Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people

I prayed therefore to Jehovah and said, O, Lord God, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance which You have redeemed through Your greatness, which You have brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

You shall not pervert the rightful judgment of the stranger nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's clothing to pledge. But you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and Jehovah your God redeemed you from there. Therefore I command you to do this thing.

The works of His hands are truth and judgment; all His commands are true, standing fast forever and ever; they are done in truth and uprightness. He sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.

Let Israel hope in Jehovah; for with Jehovah there is mercy, and with Him is plentiful redemption. And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

To Him who alone does great wonders; for His mercy endures forever. To Him who by wisdom made the heavens; for His mercy endures forever. To Him who stretched out the earth above the waters; for His mercy endures forever. To Him who made great lights; for His mercy endures forever. The sun to rule by day; for His mercy endures forever. the moon and stars to rule by night; for His mercy endures forever. To Him who struck Egypt in their first-born; for His mercy endures forever; and brought Israel out from among them, for His mercy endures forever; with a strong hand, and a stretched out arm; for His mercy endures forever; to Him who divided the Red Sea into parts; for His mercy endures forever; and made Israel to pass through the middle of it; for His mercy endures forever; but threw Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for His mercy endures forever. To Him who led His people through the wilderness; for His mercy endures forever. To Him who struck great kings; for His mercy endures forever; and killed famous kings; for His mercy endures forever: Sihon king of the Amorites; for His mercy endures forever; and Og the king of Bashan; for His mercy endures forever; and gave their land for an inheritance; for His mercy endures forever; an inheritance to Israel His servant; for His mercy endures forever. Who remembered us in our low estate; for His mercy endures forever; and has redeemed us from our enemies; for His mercy endures forever.

Yea, truth fails; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. And Jehovah saw, and it displeased Him that there was no judgment. And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore His own arm brought salvation to Him; and His righteousness sustained Him. For He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head. And He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was covered with zeal like a cloak. read more.
According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay; fury to His foes, deed for deed to His enemies. He will repay their deeds to the coastlands. So they shall fear the name of Jehovah from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Jehovah shall make him flee. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob, says Jehovah.

I will mention the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has benefited for us, and the great good to the house of Israel by which He benefited them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses. For He said, Surely they are My people, sons that will not lie; so He was their Savior. In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

Hear the Word of Jehovah, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands afar off. And say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd keeps his flock. For Jehovah has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of the one stronger than he.
