Psalm 16:1

Preserve me, O God, for in thee do I take refuge.

Psalm 16:2

Thou [my soul] have said to LORD, Thou are my LORD. I have no good beyond thee.

Psalm 16:3

As for the sanctified who are in the earth, they are the excellent in whom is all my delight.

Psalm 16:4

Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts for another [god]. Their drink-offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names upon my lips.

Psalm 16:5

LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup. Thou maintain my lot.

Psalm 16:6

The lines are fallen to me in pleasant places. Yea, I have a fine heritage.

Psalm 16:7

I will bless LORD, who has given me counsel. Yea, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.

Psalm 16:8

I {beheld (LXX/NT)} LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psalm 16:9

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices. My flesh also shall dwell in {hope (LXX/NT)}.

Psalm 16:10

For thou will not leave my soul to Sheol, nor will thou allow thy holy man to see corruption.

Psalm 16:11

Thou {made known to (LXX/NT)} me the path of life. {Thou will fill me of joy with thy countenance (LXX/NT)}.
