Sing joyfully to Jehovah, O you righteous ones. Praise is becoming to the upright.
Psalm 33:2 (show verse)
Give thanks to Jehovah with the harp. Sing praises to him with a harp of ten strings.

Sing to him a new song. Play your best and shout with joy.
Psalm 33:4 (show verse)
The word of Jehovah is upright. All his works are true (trustworthy).

He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of Jehovah's loving-kindness.

The heavens were made by the word of Jehovah, and by the breath of his mouth their entire host.

He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He puts the ocean depth in his storehouses.
Psalm 33:8 (show verse)
Let all the earth reverence Jehovah. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Psalm 33:9 (show verse)
He spoke and it was done! He commanded and it stood fast.
Psalm 33:10 (show verse)
Jehovah nullifies the counsel of the nations. He frustrates the plans of the peoples.
Psalm 33:11 (show verse)
The counsel of Jehovah and the plans of his heart stand from generation to generation, forever.
Psalm 33:12 (show verse)
Blessed is the nation who's God is Jehovah. Happy are the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.

Jehovah looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
Psalm 33:14 (show verse)
He looks from his dwelling place on all the inhabitants of the earth,
Psalm 33:15 (show verse)
He who fashions all their hearts observes and understands all their works.
Psalm 33:16 (show verse)
A mighty army does not save the king. A warrior is not delivered by great strength.
Psalm 33:17 (show verse)
A horse is a false hope for victory. It does not deliver anyone by its great strength.

Remember, the eye of Jehovah is on those who respect him, on those who hope for his loving-kindness.
Psalm 33:19 (show verse)
It is on those who deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
Psalm 33:20 (show verse)
We wait for Jehovah for he is our help and our shield.
Psalm 33:21 (show verse)
Our heart rejoices in him, for we trust in his holy name.
Psalm 33:22 (show verse)
Let your loving-kindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, just as we have hoped and waited patiently in you.
