Angels » Execute the judgments of God
When the angel extended his hand to destroy Jerusalem, the Lord relented from his judgment. He told the angel who was killing the people, "That's enough! Stop now!" (Now the Lord's angel was near the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.)
That very night the Lord's messenger went out and killed 185,000 men in the Assyrian camp. When they got up early the next morning, there were all the corpses.
May they be like wind-driven chaff, as the Lord's angel attacks them! May their path be dark and slippery, as the Lord's angel chases them!
