Thou hast increased, O LORD my God, thy wonderful works which thou hast done and thy thoughts regarding us; they are beyond our ability to express, declare, or speak; they cannot be told. Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened; burnt offering and sin offering thou hast not required.

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never make perfect those who come by the same sacrifices which they offer year by year continually. Otherwise, they would cease to offer them, because those that sacrifice, once purged, would have no more conscience of sin. But in these sacrifices each year the same remembrance of sins is made. read more.
For the blood of bulls and of goats cannot take away sins. Therefore when he came into the world, he said, Sacrifice and offering thou dost not desire, but a body hast thou prepared me; in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Behold, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou dost not desire, neither hadst pleasure therein, which are offered by the law; then he said, Behold, I come to do thy will, O God. He took away the first, that he may establish the second.

And they sing the song of Moses, the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Zain He has made his wonderful works to be remembered; Cheth The LORD is gracious and merciful.

He has made every thing beautiful in his time: even the world he has given over to their will, in such a way that no man can attain to this work that God makes from the beginning to the end.

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works.

Thou hast increased, O LORD my God, thy wonderful works which thou hast done and thy thoughts regarding us; they are beyond our ability to express, declare, or speak; they cannot be told.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are thy works, and that, my soul knows right well.

When I am poor and needy; the Lord will remember me; thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Thou hast increased, O LORD my God, thy wonderful works which thou hast done and thy thoughts regarding us; they are beyond our ability to express, declare, or speak; they cannot be told.

Therefore, how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John those things which you hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go and tell John the things ye have seen and heard: how the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached;

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the psalms, concerning me. Then he opened their understanding that they might understand the scriptures and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day; read more.
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Nevertheless, in one or two manners God speaks to the one who does not see. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; then he opens the ears of men and seals their instruction, read more.
that he may withdraw the man from his own work and cover the man from pride. Thus he keeps back his soul from the pit and his life from perishing by the sword. He is chastened also upon his bed with strong pain in all his bones,

Behold, God is mighty and does not despise; he is mighty in virtue of heart. He shall not give life to the wicked; but to the poor he shall give their right. He shall not withdraw his eyes from the righteous; but with kings he shall place them on the throne for ever, and they shall be exalted. read more.
And if they were bound in fetters and captive in cords of affliction, then he shall show them their work and that their rebellions prevailed. He opens their ear to instruction and commands that they turn from iniquity. If they hearken and serve him, they shall spend their days in goodness and their years in delight. But if they do not hearken, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. But the hypocrites in heart shall irritate him more; they shall not cry out when he binds them. Their soul shall die in youth, and their life is among the male pagan cult prostitutes. He shall deliver the poor from his poverty, and in affliction shall open their ears.

The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the wise that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary; he wakes up early, early shall he awaken my ear, that I might hear, as the wise. The Lord GOD has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye princes of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? shall the LORD say. I am full of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; and I do not delight in the blood of bullocks or of lambs or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts? read more.
Bring no more vain oblations; the incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot stand them; iniquity and the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
