But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of the grave; bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in thee.

Therefore thus hath the LORD of the hosts said, Behold, I will melt them and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people? Their tongue is as a sharp arrow; it speaks deceit: one speaks peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth but in heart he lays in wait. Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?



For many deceivers are entered into the world, who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in flesh. This same is a deceiver and antichrist.

But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of the grave; bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in thee.

The true witness delivers souls, but the deceitful one speaks lies.

As a mad man who casts firebrands, arrows, and death, so is the man that destroys his friend and says, Am I not in sport?

The poor and the usurer meet together; the LORD lightens both their eyes.


But cursed be the deceiver, who has in his flock a male and vows and sacrifices unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of the hosts, and my name is formidable among the Gentiles.

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God; depart from me therefore, ye bloodthirsty men.


raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own abominations; erratic stars, to whom is reserved gross darkness eternally.

His own iniquities shall take hold of the wicked, and he shall be imprisoned with the cords of his sins.

For the cup is in the hand of the LORD, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he pours out of the same; yea, the dregs thereof, shall wring out and swallow up all the wicked of the earth.

The wicked spring forth as the grass, and all the workers of iniquity blossom, so that they shall be destroyed for ever:


Vau For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be; thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

For such as are blessed of him shall inherit the earth, and those that are cursed of him shall be cut off.


Who were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood.

Do not be hasty to condemn, neither be thou foolish: why should thou die in the midst of thy labours?

As if they had never been planted, as if they had never been sown, as if their stock had never taken root in the earth; even blowing upon them, they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.
