"The Lord has richly blessed my master and he has become very wealthy. The Lord has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.

You visit the earth and give it rain; you make it rich and fertile with overflowing streams full of water. You provide grain for them, for you prepare the earth to yield its crops.

When Isaac planted in that land, he reaped in the same year a hundred times what he had sown, because the Lord blessed him.

Furthermore, I am giving you what you did not request -- riches and honor so that you will be the greatest king of your generation.

The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months. The Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his family.

I have led you through the desert for forty years. Your clothing has not worn out nor have your sandals deteriorated.


He blessed them so that they became very numerous. He would not allow their cattle to decrease in number.

Our storehouses will be full, providing all kinds of food. Our sheep will multiply by the thousands and fill our pastures.
