But with righteousness shall he judge the poor and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the spirit of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor because the LORD is his hope.


Thy presence was in thy congregation; thou, O God, by thy goodness thou hast provided for the poor.


For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor in spirit to save his soul from those that judge him.

The poor and needy seek the waters that are not; their tongue fails for thirst; I the LORD will hear them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them.




He who does justice unto the oppressed; who gives bread to the hungry. The LORD looses the prisoners:

Let the sighing of the prisoners come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve those that are appointed to die

For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from the heavens the LORD beheld the earth to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death,
