But He turned them all out, and taking hold of her hand, called to her, saying, Child, arise. And her spirit returned, and immediately she stood up: and He ordered something to be given her to eat. And her parents were exceedingly astonished: but He charged them to tell no one what was done.

As He was speaking these things to them, behold there came a ruler and worshipped Him, saying, My daughter is at the point of death: but come, I pray Thee, and put thy hand upon her, and she shall live: and Jesus rose up, and followed him; as did also his disciples.
And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, named Jairus; and as soon as he saw Him, he fell at his feet, and earnestly intreated Him, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death, I beseech thee that thou wouldst come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live. So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him, and pressed about Him.

And He strictly charged them, that no one should know it: and bid them give her something to eat.
