And John answered him, saying, Teacher, we saw one casting out demons in your name, and he followed not us: and we forbade him, because he followed not us. But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man who shall do a miracle in my name, that can soon after speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is for us.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
