This is why many are sick and ill among you, and many have fallen asleep.
What is more, he eats in darkness all his days, with much sorrow, sickness, and anger.
if you reject My statutes and despise My ordinances, and do not observe all My commands-and break My covenant, then I will do this to you: I will bring terror on you-wasting disease and fever that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. The Lord will also afflict you with every sickness and plague not recorded in the book of this law, until you are destroyed.
You yourself will be struck with many illnesses, including a disease of the intestines, until your intestines come out day after day because of the disease.”
Fools suffered affliction because of their rebellious ways and their sins. They loathed all food and came near the gates of death.
