and it was not Adam who was deceived. It was the woman who was deceived and became disobedient,
After all, we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, and misled. We were slaves to many kinds of lusts and pleasures, spending our days in malice and jealousy. We were despised, and we hated one another.
The beast was captured, along with the false prophet who had performed signs on its behalf. By these signs the false prophet had deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped its image. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.
Our ancestors sinned and no longer exist yet we continue to bear the consequences of their sin.
