and one of the elders says to me, "Weep not; behold, the Lion Who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, prevailed to open the book, and its seven seals.
And, behold, a Canaanitish woman, having come forth out of those borders, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon!"
A book of the lineage of Jesus Christ, Son of David, Son of Abraham.
And all the multitudes were amazed, and said, Can this be the Son of David?"
And the multitudes, who were going before Him, and those who were following, were crying, saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He Who cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"
And many were rebuking him, that he should be silent. But he kept crying much more, "Son of David! have mercy on me!"
And Jesus, answering, said, while teaching in the temple, "How do the scribes say that the Christ is David's Son?
Did not the Scriptures say, that the Christ cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?"
concerning His Son, Who was born of the seed of David, according to His flesh,
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my Gospel;

And the Pharisees and Sadducees, coming near, tempting Him, asked Him to show them a sign from the heaven;
And the Pharisees came to Him, tempting Him, and saying, "Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause"
Then the Pharisees, going, took counsel how they might ensnare Him in speech.
And the Pharisees came out, and began to discuss with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, tempting Him.
And the Pharisees, corning to Him, were asking Him, "Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife!" tempting Him.
And they send to Him some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, that they may entrap Him in speech.
lying in wait for Him, to catch something out of His mouth.
And, watching Him, they sent forth spies, feigning themselves to be righteous, that they might take hold of His speech, so as to deliver Him up to the rule and the authority of the governor.
This they said, trying Him, that they might have whereof to accuse Him. But Jesus, having stooped down, was writing with His finger on the ground.

Who delivered us out of the dominion of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love;
"Behold, My servant Whom I chose, My Beloved, in Whom My soul delighted. I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will declare judgment to the gentiles.
While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I delighted; hear Him."
And a voice came out of Heaven, saying, "Thou art My Son, the beloved, in Whom I was well pleased."
to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved;
Thus Christ also glorified not Himself to become a high priest, but He Who spake to Him, "Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee";

The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Behold, a man gluttonous and a wine-drinker, a friend of tax-collectors and sinners.' And wisdom was justified by her works."
But the Pharisees said, "By the ruler of the demons He is casting out the demons."
And they began to accuse Him, saying, "We found This Man perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ a King!"
and set up false witnesses, who said, "This man does not cease speaking words against this holy place, and the law;
And others, mocking, said, "They have been filled with new wine!"
For, finding this man a plague, and stirring up insurrections among the Jews throughout the inhabited earth, and a ring-leader of the sect of the Nazarenes;
