And he gave him the covenant of circumcision. And so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob, and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.
And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
And I gave to Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave to Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.
And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first was born red, all over like a hairy garment: and they called his name Esau. And after that his brother was born, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.
