Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and placed him on a wing of the temple, and saith to him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, "that he shall give his angels a charge concerning thee: and in their hands shall they hold thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a wing of the temple, and said to him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thy self down from hence: for it is written, "He shall give his angels a charge over thee, to guard thee safely; and that in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."
