Therefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received from us.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
If you were of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.
Depart you, depart you, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out of the midst of her; be you clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When you have passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; Then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their engraved stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places: And you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it. read more.
And you shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falls; according to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit. But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those whom you let remain of them shall be barbs in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall trouble you in the land wherein you dwell. Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
