Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He said unto him, Yes, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He said unto him, Feed my lambs. He said to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He said unto him, Yes, Lord thou knowest that I love thee. He said unto him, Feed my sheep. He said unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus said unto him, Feed my sheep.


Then Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me to come unto thee upon the water.

Then Peter answered and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to remain here; if thou desire, let us make three tabernacles here: one for thee and one for Moses and one for Elijah.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him (for he was naked) and cast himself into the sea.


Then Peter, taking him aside, began to rebuke him, saying, Lord, be it far from thee; in no wise shall this happen unto thee.

Peter said unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou shalt have no part with me.

Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and smote the high priest's slave and cut off his right ear. The slave's name was Malchus.


But seeing that the wind was strong, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me.

Now Peter sat outside in the patio; and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him and said unto those that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth. read more.
And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.





Then Peter answered and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?


and when she saw Peter warming himself, looking upon him, said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth. But he denied, saying, I know him not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. And the maid seeing him again began to say to those that stood by, This is one of them. read more.
But he denied it again. And a little after, those that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them, for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agrees unto it. And he began to curse and to swear, saying, I do not know this man of whom ye speak.


Then Peter answered and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?


Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.


And straightway they forsook their nets and followed him.
