And he says to me, "Write, Happy are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he says to me, "These are true words of God."
And we know that all things are working together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose; because whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first born among many brethren. And whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Nay but, O man, who are you that reply against God ? Shall the thing formed say to Him Who formed it, "Why didst Thou make me thus?" Or has not the potter a right over the clay, out of the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? and that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, even us, whom He also called, not from Jews only, but also from gentiles? As He saith in Hosea, "I will call that My people, which was not My people; and her, 'Beloved,' who was not beloved. And it shall be that in the place where it was said, 'Ye are not My people,' there shall they be called sons of the living God."

but we preach Christ crucified; to the Jews, a stumbling-block, and to the gentiles foolishness; but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
For he that was called in the Lord, being a slave, is the Lord's freedman: likewise, he that was called, being free, is Christ's slave. Ye were bought with a price; become not slaves of men. Brethren, let each one abide with God in the same condition in which he was called.
