And the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, mingled pure in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tortured in fire and sulphur before the holy angels, and before the Lamb: And the smoke of their torture goes up forever and ever: and they have no rest day and night, those worshipping the wild beast and his image, and if any receive the stamp of his name.

And in hades, having lifted up his eyes, being in torments, he sees Abraham from far off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he having called out, said, Father Abraham, pity me, and send Lazarus, that he might dip his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. And besides all these, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed: so that they wishing to pass through thence to you could not; neither could they cross over from thence to us. And he said, Then I ask thee, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he might testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
