[O] the Almighty, we cannot find him out. He is excellent in power. And in justice and abundant righteousness he will not afflict.





Why do thou strive against him because he does not give of any of his matters?

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also he has set eternity in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.

then I beheld all the work of God, that man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. Because however much a man labors to seek it out, yet he shall not find it. Yea moreover, though a wise man thinks to know it, yet he

For who has known the mind of Lord? Or who became his counselor?






As for God, his way is perfect. The word of LORD is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

LORD redeems the soul of his servants, and none of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.


O how great is thy goodness, which thou have laid up for those who fear thee, which thou have wrought for those who take refuge in thee before the sons of men!





And the Father, he who sent me, has testified about me.Ye have neither heard his voice, nor have ever seen his appearance.



Lo, he goes by me, and I do not see him. He also passes on, but I do not perceive him.

Behold, I go forward, but he is not [there], and backward, but I cannot perceive him,








He trusted in LORD, the God of Israel, so that there was none like him among all the kings of Judah after him, nor [among those] who were before him.

O my God, in thee I have trusted. Let me not be put to shame. Let not my enemies triumph over me.


Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in thee. Yea, in the shadow of thy wings I will take refuge until calamities be passed by.







If LORD delights in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey.

Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth changes, and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas,







Who is among you that fears LORD, who obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness, and has no light, let him trust in the name of LORD, and rely upon his God.




Who, being reviled, did not revile in return. Suffering, he did not threaten, but yielded to him who judges righteously.



Into thy hand I commend my spirit. Thou have redeemed me, O LORD, thou God of truth.



who set out to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to take refuge in the shadow of Egypt!


When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to king Jareb. But he is not able to heal you, nor will he cure you of your wound.



Behold, thou trust upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man leans, it will go into his hand, and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust on him.


Now the Egyptians are men, and not God, and their horses flesh, and not spirit. And when LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he who helps shall stumble, and he who is helped shall fall, and they shall all be consumed together.



Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall on the ground independent of your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore, ye are of worth more than many sparrows.

Acquire no gold, nor silver, nor copper in your belts,





So I shall have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in thy word.
