The two doors also were of olive wood; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubim, and upon the palm trees.

And he carved thereon cherubim and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.

And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their capitals and their bands with gold: but their five sockets were of bronze.

And he made the lampstand of pure gold: of hammered work made he the lampstand; its shaft, and its branch, its bowls, its knobs, and its flowers, were of the one same piece: And six branches going out of the sides of it; three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side: Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knob and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knob and a flower: so also the six branches coming out of the lampstand. read more.
And in the lampstand were four bowls made like almonds, its knobs, and its flowers: And a knob under the first two branches of the one same piece, and a knob under the second two branches of the one same piece, and a knob under the third two branches of the one same piece, according to the six branches coming out of it. Their knobs and their branches were of the same piece: all of it was one hammered work of pure gold. And he made its seven lamps, and its wick trimmers, and their trays, of pure gold. Of a talent of pure gold he made it, and all its utensils.

And you shall make a lampstand of pure gold: of hammered work shall the lampstand be made: its shaft, and its branches, its bowls, its knobs, and its flowers, shall be of the same one piece. And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side: Three bowls made like almonds, with a knob and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knob and a flower: so also the six branches that come out of the lampstand. read more.
And in the lampstand shall be four bowls made like almonds, with their knobs and their flowers. And there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same one piece, and a knob under the second two branches of the same one piece, and a knob under the third two branches of the same one piece, according to the six branches that proceed out of the lampstand. Their knobs and their branches shall be of the same piece: all of it shall be one hammered work of pure gold. And you shall make its seven lamps : and they shall light its lamps, that they may give light in front of it. And its wick trimmers, and their trays, shall be of pure gold.


And king Solomon made two hundred large shields of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one large shield. And he made three hundred shields of hammered gold; three minas of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.



Kings' daughters were among your honorable women: at your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.


A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.


And king Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold: six hundred shekels of hammered gold went to each large shield.


And they did hammer the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with skillful work.


Where there were white, green, and blue hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the couches were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and blue, and white and black marble.
