Who is a liar, if not he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, that denieth the Father as well as the Son; for whosoever denieth the Son, hath not the Father: but he that confesseth the Son acknowledgeth the Father also. Let that therefore, which ye have heard from the beginning, abide in you: for if that, which ye heard from the beginning, remain in you, ye also will remain in the Son and in the Father. read more.
And this is the promise which He hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning those who would seduce you. But the unction, which ye have received from Him, abideth in you; and therefore ye have no need that any should teach you: since this very unction teacheth you concerning all things, and is truth and not falshood; even as that hath taught you, abide in Him. And now, little children, abide, I say, in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and may not be ashamed before Him at his coming.

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence towards God:
Now He, that hath wrought us hereunto, is God; who hath also given us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that while we dwell in the body, we are absent from the Lord, (for we walk by faith, not by sight,) we are confident, I say, read more.
