Thematic Bible: Who purifies their soul

See what wonderful love the Father has bestowed on us in letting us be called God's children, and that is what we are! This is why the world does not know what we are, because it has never come to know Him. Dearly beloved, we are now God's children, but what we are going to be has not been unveiled. We know that if it is unveiled, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in him tries to make himself as pure as He is.

because you know that you have not been ransomed with things that perish as silver or gold, from the futile way of living taught by your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without a blemish or a blot, who was foreordained for it before the foundation of the world but was brought out to public view at the end of the ages, for the sake of you read more.
who through Him trust in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory; so that your faith and hope may rest in God.
