the LORD giveth sight to the blind. The LORD helpeth them up that are fallen; the LORD loveth the righteous.
The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich; bringeth low, and heaveth up on high. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill: to set them among princes, and to inherit them with the seat of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the round world upon them.
Submit yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you, when the time is come.
The LORD setteth up the meek, and bringeth the ungodly down to the ground.
Cast down yourselves before the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
