From the sole of the foot even to the head,
no spot is uninjured
wounds, welts, and festering sores
not cleansed, bandaged,
or soothed with oil.


For her wound is incurable
and has reached even Judah;
it has approached the gate of my people,
as far as Jerusalem.

Who has woe? Who has sorrow?
Who has conflicts? Who has complaints?
Who has wounds for no reason?
Who has red eyes?

He will get a beating and dishonor,
and his disgrace will never be removed.


And see that there isn't any immoral or irreverent person like Esau, who sold his birthright in exchange for one meal. For you know that later, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected because he didn't find any opportunity for repentance, though he sought it with tears.
