Thematic Bible: Zedekiah, following the evil example of jehoiakim

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God and did not humble himself before Jeremiah, the prophet, who spoke unto him from the mouth of the LORD. He rebelled, likewise, against King Nebuchadnezzar, unto whom he had sworn by God; but he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
