Genesis 21:22

Genesis 13:5-12

Genesis 21:25-31

And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of the well of water which Abimelech's servants had taken away violently. And Abimelech said, I know not who has done this thing, neither did thou tell me, nor yet did I hear of it, but today. And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them to Abimelech. Genesis 14:22-24

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to LORD, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take a thread nor a shoe latchet nor anything that is thine, lest thou should say, I have made Abram rich, except only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre. Let them take their portion.

And Abraham rose up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the sons of Heth. And he conversed with them, saying, If it be your mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight, hear me, and entreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar, that he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he has, which is in the end of his field. And he spoke to Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou will, I pray thee, hear me. I will give the price of the field. Take it from me, and I will bury my dead there. And Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him, My lord, hearken to me. A piece of land worth four hundred shekels of silver, what is that between me and thee? Therefore bury thy dead. And Abraham hearkened to Ephron. And Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver that he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current [money] with the merchant.

Genesis 24:1-4

And Abraham was old, well stricken in age. And LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. And Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his house, who ruled over all that he had, Put thy hand, I pray thee, under my thigh. And I will make thee swear by LORD, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that thou will not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell.read more.
