For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it."
He who has received his testimony has certified that God is true. For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without measure.
Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and testify to what we have seen; but you do not receive our testimony.
I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
Many of his disciples, when they heard it, said, "This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?"
