But to all who did receive Him,
He gave them the right to be children of God,
to those who believe in His name,
I assure you: Whoever receives anyone I send receives Me, and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”
“The one who welcomes you welcomes Me, and the one who welcomes Me welcomes Him who sent Me.
“Whoever welcomes one little child such as this in My name welcomes Me. And whoever welcomes Me does not welcome Me, but Him who sent Me.”
He told them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes Me. And whoever welcomes Me welcomes Him who sent Me. For whoever is least among you—this one is great.”
Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me. And whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
Then Jesus cried out, “The one who believes in Me believes not in Me, but in Him who sent Me.
because the words that You gave Me,
I have given them.
They have received them
and have known for certain
that I came from You.
They have believed that You sent Me.
But He told them, “Not everyone can accept this saying, but only those it has been given to. For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, there are eunuchs who were made by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves that way because of the kingdom of heaven. Let anyone accept this who can.”
The one who has accepted His testimony has affirmed that God is true. For God sent Him, and He speaks God’s words, since He gives the Spirit without measure.
“I assure you: We speak what We know and We testify to what We have seen, but you do not accept Our testimony.
I have come in My Father’s name, yet you don’t accept Me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe? While accepting glory from one another, you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God.
Therefore, when many of His disciples heard this, they said, “This teaching is hard! Who can accept it?”
