17 Bible Verses about Acceptance, Of Jesus Christ

But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

Truly, truly, I say to you, He who receives whomever I send receives Me. And he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.

He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.

And whoever shall receive one such little child in My name receives Me.

Whoever receives one of such children on My name receives Me. And whoever receives Me does not only receives Me, but Him who sent Me.

And He said to them, Whoever shall receive this child in My name receives Me. And whoever shall receive Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all, he shall be great.

The one hearing you hears Me, and he who despises you despises Me; he who rejects you also rejects Him who sent Me.

But Jesus cried out and said, He who believes on Me does not believe on Me but on Him who sent Me.

For I have given to them the Words which You gave Me, and they have received them and have known surely that I came out from You. And they have believed that You sent Me.

And if you will receive it, this is Elijah who is to come.

But He said to them, Not all receive this word, except those to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs who were born so from their mother's womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of Heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.

He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the Words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

He came to His own, and His own received Him not.

Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what we know and testify what we have seen. And you do not receive our witness.

I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me. If another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, you who receive honor from one another and do not seek the honor that comes from God only?

Then when they had heard, many of His disciples said, This is a hard saying, who can hear it?
