But as many as received him, to them gave he privilege to become the sons of God, to them that believe in his name:

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him;

Verily, verily I say unto you, he that receiveth whomsoever I send, receiveth me, and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.

and he that entertaineth me, entertaineth him that sent me.

And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.

receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not only me, but him that sent me.

and sat him by him, And said to them, whosoever shall receive this child in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that rejecteth you, rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me, rejecteth him that sent me.

Jesus said with a loud voice, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

For I have given them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them, and have known surely, that I came forth from thee, and they have believed that thou hast sent me.

And if ye are willing to receive him, this is Elijah, who was to come.

But he said to them, All men cannot receive this saying, but they to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs, who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

He that hath received his testimony, hath set to his seal, that God is true. For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God; for God giveth not him the Spirit by measure.

He came to his own, and his own received him not.

Verily, verily I say to thee, we speak what we know, and testify what we have seen; yet ye receive not our testimony.

if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, while ye receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that is from God only?

Many of his disciples hearing it, said, This is an hard saying: who can hear it?
