but death reigned from Adam unto Moses, even on those who did not sin after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the type of him who is to come.

As was the earthy, such are they also who are earthy; and as was the heavenly, such are they also who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we must also bear the image of the heavenly.
For our citizenship is in the heavens; whence we are indeed looking for our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who will transform the body of our humility, similitudinous to the body of his own glory, according to the energy by which he is able indeed to subdue all things to himself.
