My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.
The sorrows of death surrounded me, and the pangs of sheol got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that has no strength:
We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the twilight; we are in desolate places as dead men.

For I think that God has set forth us the apostles last, as appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
