And he asked them of their welfare, and said, Is your father well, the old man of whom you spoke? Is he yet alive? And they answered, Your servant our father is in good health, he is yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and paid him honor.

It was right that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
