Again the devil took him to a very high mountain, and he showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor,

And he took him up and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.

It was allowed to make war on God's people and to conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation.

It is impossible for the world to hate you, but it does hate me for testifying that its ways are wrong.

and will go out to lead astray the heathen in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, and to muster them for battle, in numbers like the sand of the seashore.
