So the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Yahweh into its place, into the shrine of the house, into the holy of holies, - under the wings of the cherubim. For, the cherubim, were spreading forth their two wings, over the place of the ark, - and the cherubim made a covering over the ark and over the staves thereof, above.

And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard, as far as the outer court, - like the voice of the Almighty GOD when he speaketh,
