Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.
And in the greatness of thy excellence thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thy anointed.
And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and in the indignation of his anger hath despised the king and the priest. The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.
