And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at the hardness of their hearts, and said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored. Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

So they came to Jerusalem. And Jesus entered the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

And he made a whip of cords, and drove them all, with the sheep and oxen, out of the temple; and he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. And he said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! You shall not make my Father's house a house of merchandise!" His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for your house will consume me."
