And he saith to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they were silent. And looking round on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored. And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately had a consultation with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
And they come to Jerusalem. And he went into the temple, and began to cast out those who sold and bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of those who sold the doves;

And having made a scourge of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and poured out the money of the exchangers, and overthrew the tables; and said to those who sold the doves, Take these things hence; make not my Fathers house a house of merchandise. His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for thy house will consume me."
