Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, [the covenant] which he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac, and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
And this is the thing that thou shall do to them to hallow them, to minister to me in the priest's office: Take one young bullock and two rams without blemish,
Then Samuel took the vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not that LORD has anointed thee to be prince over his inheritance?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],
And thou shall anoint with it the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the table and all the vessels of it, and the candlestick and the vessels of it, and the altar of incense, and the altar of burnt-offering with all the vessels of it, and the laver and the base of it.
And thou shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water. And thou shall put upon Aaron the holy garments, and thou shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office. And thou shall bring his sons, and put coats upon them,read more.
and thou shall anoint them, as thou anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. And their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
And the anointed priest shall bring of the blood of the bullock to the tent of meeting.

I am LORD.
and ate and drank before LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him to LORD to be prince, and Zadok to be priest.
And Zadok the priest took the horn of oil out of the tent, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet, and all the people said, Live, king Solomon.

So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron. And king David made a covenant with them in Hebron before LORD, and they anointed David king over Israel.
Then he brought out the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and [gave him] the testimony. And they made him king, and anointed him. And they clapped their hands, and said, Live, O king.
And LORD said to him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus. And when thou come, thou shall anoint Hazael to be king over Syria. And thou shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi to be king over Israel. And thou shall anoint Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah to be prophet in thy place.
