So he went and removed the body, accompanied by Nicodemus (he who had first come to Jesus by night) who brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds of it; they took and wrapped up the body of Jesus in the spices and in bandages, according to the Jewish custom of burial.
