8 Bible Verses about Apostles, Identfication

If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you: for ye are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very greatest apostles.

I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended by you: for in nothing am I behind the very greatest apostles, though I am nothing.

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you. Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tables of stone, but on fleshly tables of the heart.

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and around to Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
