Abstain from all appearance of evil.

But fornication and all impurity, or insatiable desire, let it not be mentioned among you, as becometh saints;

It is laudable not to eat flesh, or to drink wine, nor to do any thing whereby thy brother is stumbled, or scandalized, or weakened.

and that you make it your study to live peaceably, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we have enjoined you; that ye walk becomingly towards those without, and need no assistance from any person.

Let us walk becomingly as in the face of day, not in revels and drunkenness, not in impurities and wantonness, not in strife and envy.

Yet such were some of you: but ye have been washed, but ye have been sanctified, but ye have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.
