So, then, as through one trespass, the judgment came to all men unto condemnation; so also, through one righteous act, the free gift came to all men unto justification of life.

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living: ye do greatly err."
And they send to Him some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, that they may entrap Him in speech. And, coming, they say to Him, "Teacher, we know that Thou art true, and carest not for any one; for Thou lookest not into the face of men, but in truth teachest the way of God. Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give?" But He, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, "Why are ye tempting Me? Bring Me a denary, that I may see it."read more.
And they brought it. And He saith to them, "Whose is this image and inscription?" And they said to Him, "Caesar's." And Jesus said to them, "Render to Caesar the things of Caesar, and to God the things of God." And they wondered exceedingly at Him.
And they come again into Jerusalem. And, as He was walking about in the temple, the high priests and the scribes and the elders come to Him; and said to Him, "By what authority art Thou doing these things! Or who gave Thee this authority to do these things!" And Jesus said to them, "I will ask you one thing; and answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.read more.

And on the morrow, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And, seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came, if perhaps He might find something thereon. And, having come to it, He found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. And, answering, He said to it, "May no one eat fruit from you any more forever!" And the high priests and scribes heard it, and were seeking how they might destroy Him; for they were fearing Him, for all the multitude was astonished at His teaching. And, whenever it became late, they went forth out of the city. And, passing by the next morning, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, calling to remembrance, says to Him, "Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which Thou didst curse has withered away!" And Jesus, answering, saith to them, "Have the faith of God. Verily I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says comes to pass; he shall have it. Therefore, I say to you, all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them. And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any; that your Father also Who is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses."
And we have beheld, and testify, that the Father hath sent the Son, as Savior of the world.
For I delivered to you, among the first things, that which also I received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures;
because Christ also suffered for sins once, a Righteous One in behalf of the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,
and walk in love, as Christ also loved you, and delivered Himself up for you, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of sweet smell.
but, if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with One another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
And Jesus, answering, said, while teaching in the temple, "How do the scribes say that the Christ is David's Son? David himself said in the Holy Spirit, 'The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on My right hand, until I put Thy enemies underneath Thy feet.' David himself calls Him Lord; and whence is He his Son?" And the great multitude heard Him gladly.
And one of the scribes, coming near, hearing them discussing together, knowing that He answered them well, asked Him, "What commandment is first of all?" Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel; the Lord is our God, the Lord is One; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your mind and with all your strength.'read more.
A second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." The scribe said to Him, "Well, Teacher, Thou didst say truly that He is One, and there is not another beside Him; and to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as himself, is much more than all the whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices." And Jesus, seeing that he answered discreetly, said to him, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." And no one any more dared to question Him.
And He began to speak to them in parables, "A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and dug a wine-vat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country. And, at the season, he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruits of the vineyard. And, taking him, they beat him, and sent him away empty.read more.
And again he sent to them another servant; and him they wounded in the head, and dishonored. And he sent another; and him they killed; and many others, beating some, and killing some. He had yet one, a beloved son; he sent him to them last, saying, 'They will pay deference to my son.' But those husbandmen said among themselves, 'This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.' And, taking him, they killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard. What, therefore, will the lord of the vineyard do! He will come, and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others. Did ye never read the Scripture, "The stone which the builders rejected, the same became the head of a corner; this was from the Lord, and is marvelous in our eyes?" And they were seeking to lay hold of Him; and they feared the multitude; for they knew that He spake the parable against them; and, leaving Him, they went away.
He that believes on Him is not judged; he that believes not has been judged already, because he has not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.
for all sinned, and are coming short of the glory of God;
in Whom we have our redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,
And this he said not of himself; but, being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was about to die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but that He might also gather together into one the children of God that are scattered abroad.
For the love of Christ is constraining us; having judged this, that One died for all; consequently, they all died: and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to Him Who died for them, and rose again.

But God commendeth His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

And nearly all things are cleansed, according to the law, with blood; and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the assembly, and delivered Himself up for it, that He might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of the water in the word, that He might present to Himself the assembly, glorious, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it may be holy and without blemish.

It is God Who justifieth; who is he that condemns?
