And, having come to it, He found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. And, answering, He said to it, "May no one eat fruit from you any more forever!" And Peter, calling to remembrance, says to Him, "Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which Thou didst curse has withered away!" And Jesus, answering, saith to them, "Have the faith of God. Verily I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says comes to pass; he shall have it. Therefore, I say to you, all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them. And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any; that your Father also Who is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

Mark 12:35-37

And Jesus, answering, said, while teaching in the temple, "How do the scribes say that the Christ is David's Son? David himself said in the Holy Spirit, 'The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on My right hand, until I put Thy enemies underneath Thy feet.' David himself calls Him Lord; and whence is He his Son?" And the great multitude heard Him gladly.

Mark 12:28-34

And one of the scribes, coming near, hearing them discussing together, knowing that He answered them well, asked Him, "What commandment is first of all?" Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel; the Lord is our God, the Lord is One; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your mind and with all your strength.'read more.
A second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." The scribe said to Him, "Well, Teacher, Thou didst say truly that He is One, and there is not another beside Him; and to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as himself, is much more than all the whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices." And Jesus, seeing that he answered discreetly, said to him, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." And no one any more dared to question Him.

And they were seeking to lay hold of Him; and they feared the multitude; for they knew that He spake the parable against them; and, leaving Him, they went away.

John 11:51-52
