Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not jealous. Love does not brag and is not arrogant (proud). Love does not act indecently. It is not selfish. It is not so among you. Whoever would become great among you, shall be your minister (servant) (attendant). Whoever would be first among you, shall be servant of all. For the Son of man also came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others more important than you. Look out for the interest of others and not only for your own personal interest. Have this attitude (mind-set) (understanding) (mental state) in you that was also in Christ Jesus.read more.

Brothers, accept the example of suffering and patience by the prophets who spoke in the name of God. As you know, those who have endured are called blessed.
