Obey your leaders, and be submissive; for they watch over your souls as those that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not groaning, for this would be unprofitable for you.
Let every soul be subject to the authorities that are above him. For there is no authority except from God; and those that exist are set up by God.

For in subjecting all things to him, he has left nothing unsubject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him,
To the woman he said, I will greatly increase thy travail and thy pregnancy; with pain thou shalt bear children; and to thy husband shall be thy desire, and he shall rule over thee.
But I wish you to know that the Christ is the head of every man, but woman's head is the man, and the Christ's head God.
And he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people according to their language, That every man should bear rule in his own house, and should speak according to the language of his people.
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there arise relief and deliverance to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall perish. And who knows whether thou art not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
