At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.
