And when they saw the star, they rejoiced with very great joy. And having come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother; and falling down, they did him homage. And when they had opened their treasures, they offered to him gifts, gold, frankincense, and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed into their own country by another way.

And Joseph awoke from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him; and he took home his wife, and knew her not till she had brought forth her first-born son. And he called his name Jesus.

And the child grew, and became strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon him.
